DESIGN PRINCIPLES & APPROACH

Gym interior design focuses on creating motivating and functional spaces by optimizing layout for various workout zones, careful equipment placement, vibrant aesthetics fostering energy, maximizing natural light and ventilation, durable and safe flooring, privacy alongside accessibility, integrating brand identity, versatile multi-purpose spaces, technology integration for enhanced experiences and wellness amenities. These principles work together to craft dynamic environments that inspire workouts and cater to diverse fitness needs, encouraging a welcoming and holistic fitness experience.

LAYOUT & ATMOSPHERE

We offer services to address layout and space planning, plus atmosphere and aesthetics of your space.

LAYOUT

We specialise in optimising facility layouts, whether it's a new space or an existing one, making every square meter count. Employing CAD plans, interior visuals, on-site markings and engaging discussions with clients and users, we ensure functional and user-friendly layouts. Our approach involves zoning different areas such as cardio, free weights, stretching, gym machines, spin studios, class studios, HIIT spaces, reception/entrance and changing rooms/showers. This zoning strategy facilitates an efficient and user-friendly experience for your members.

ATMOSPHERE

Our Interior 'Atmosphere' Design package complements Layout Design, focusing on aesthetics and functionality. It aims to create an inspiring gym environment for members by ensuring a cohesive scheme across all areas. This involves careful consideration of elements such as colour schemes, flooring, materials, lighting, visual displays, audio equipment, technology integration, zonal marking, graphics, breakout spaces and reception areas. Our goal is to merge aesthetics with functional zoning to enhance the overall workout experience for gym users.

FUTURE PROOFING YOUR SPACE

We also understand that future proofing is key for our clients. Our aim is to incorporate the latest technology, whilst making informed decisions regarding scheme specification, to limit future expense.

This comes in the form of audio and visual installations, lighting configurations, electrical outputs and furniture specification.
