Layrd Design completed this Interior Design & Fit-Out scheme for the recently rebranded Eventus22 Gym based in Bury St Edmunds at the end of 2022.

The brief for the space was to transform a dated industrial unit into a bold and energising space that empowers and motivates the members of the gym. We used the existing architecture and features to help shape the colour scheme and industrial finishes of the finished space.

 

The angular paint is designed to show movement and energy and create a non static space, the black base makes for a moody and atmospheric setting with highlights of yellow bringing life and fun to the scheme. We designed the stairwell lighting to be dramatic and eye catching, this is one of the first things new members will see and it sets the tones for the culture of Eventus22.

The interior is consistent from the reception, circulation, changing rooms, meeting space and gym flooring making the the scheme fully coherent and immersive for each visitor.
