1908 Hospitality Suite
Huddersfield Town Football Club approached Layrd Design to create their new premium hospitality spaces, aiming to elevate the fan experience and completely reimagine their hospitality offering. We transformed a previously unused area into a dynamic, purpose-built space designed for modern matchday hospitality.

The brief was to create a premium hospitality space that offers a fresh and inclusive matchday experience. We introduced a variety of seating options to ensure each supporter can enjoy the space in their own way, while keeping it adaptable beyond matchdays. The design delivers a modern, high-end environment with subtle nods to the club’s history, where carefully selected colours, materials, and details celebrate the club’s identity.

A statement, striking centre bar is your first visual impression of this space. Elevated through the use of textures and carefully placed linear lighting. It not only functions seamlessly for staff and service but also embodies what modern hospitality should feel like, giving the room a sense of occasion and impact.
The bespoke design of the bar allowed for complete creative freedom, ensuring it serves as the focal point of the space, with every detail considered to make a bold and memorable impression.

From exclusive booths to energetic perch bars and riverside views, every spot delivers a premium experience. Flexible layouts keep the space inclusive and engaging for all fans.

At the heart of the space sits a bold 360° bar, wrapped in a dramatic chain-wall feature that defines the room.
With the introduction of the new 1908 identity, we established a clear brand presence within the scheme. The club’s connection to its fans and history informed the design, reflected through materials, atmosphere, and thoughtful detailing. This design language extends into circulation areas, creating a cohesive experience throughout the hospitality space and reinforcing the club’s matchday identity.

Layrd were great to work with, and they really understood what we were aiming for in order to create our new 1908hospitality lounge. They brought the brief to life in a way that felt right for both the space and the club. They also worked with us on a revamp of an existing space, now called ‘The Riverside Club’ and both lounges have been areal success.
All of us at Huddersfield Town are incredibly proud of these spaces, which have transformed the matchday offer andthe experience for fans. We are also looking forward to developing further projects in the future with Emily, Will and the team.
