Floatwell

Layrd Design completed the interior design scheme for a new Floatation centre and Wellness space in Cambridge in 2022. We were tasked with transforming a period and once residential building on Station Road into a multifunctional space that allowed for Floatation pod rooms, Saunas, Reception area, massage room, kitchen, yoga studios and therapy rooms.

The requirement was to create a welcoming and enticing feeling from the moment a customer stepped into the space, we used a neutral colour palette and pair this with the deep Floatwell green and natural flooring throughout. Existing floor boards were uncovered, sanded back and stained ready for the new space. the door signage and wayfinding throughout has a brass look to add an elegant element to the interior.
