This week I met up with James Chrome from Verco. James is the East Anglia Area Manager from this exciting commercial office furniture manufacturers. I have worked with James for a number of years on a variety of successful Design and Fit-out projects.
However unlike previous meeting, this morning I had the opportunity to meet at the Verco showroom in Clerkenwell, London. I was not surprised by the stylish, well designed space that welcomed me. Everything about Verco seems to be cohesively thought-out in this way.
It was great to see the products in real life, to touch and use them like the Layrd Design clients would. The level of detail and quality of finish was as good as expected. I also got to try out some brand new items in the showroom which I hope we can incorporate into some of our latest schemes.
This has been a trip I have been trying to make for some time now and I am glad I took the opportunity. I have come away with a much better understanding of the products offered by Verco but also a better understanding of how the company works and more in-depth knowledge of the manufacturing methods each item requires in their factory in Buckinghamshire.
I will make sure to plan a time to visit the factory and take a tour around to see how everything is made sometime soon.
