Layrd Design completed a full turnkey transformation of the Ipswich Town Football Club's West Stand Executive Boxes in the six weeks prior to the club’s first Premier League game following its promotion. The fit-out extended beyond aesthetic improvements. We worked with GS Contracts to undertake electrical updates and WC refurbishments to ensure every aspect of the executive boxes meets premium hospitality standards.
The previously bland spaces had mismatched branding and finishes, which Layrd reimagined as dark, welcoming environments that elevate the club's current standing and user experience. The new spaces are consistent with Ipswich Town’s corporate identity. Creating atmospheric spaces with bespoke elements, we included a custom media unit tailored specifically for each room.

Neutral walls paired with dark ceilings create a sophisticated backdrop for a gameday, while carefully positioned wall lights allow for adaptable lighting across different settings and times of day. The dynamic lighting transforms the spaces, providing flexible illumination that suits various moods and events.
SUSTAINABLE DESIGN
Layrd prioritised sustainability throughout the transformation of the executive boxes. Alongside working with local contractors, we specified Tala Lighting, whose commitment to low-carbon, low-impact manufacturing and use of recycled materials aligns with Layrd's design philosophy.
